WELD PROCEDURE QUALIFICATION:
All welding needs to be carried out to a qualified welding procedure. This is not as difficult or as expensive as you might think, all you need to do is complete a weld sample, in which we will witness, record the parameters used and then take away the sample for testing. The amount of testing required differs based on the standard working too, Both Non-Destructive and Mechanical Testing is generally required for normal procedure qualification. We then write the PQR (Procedure Qualification Record), WPS (Welding Procedure Specification) and WPQR (Welder Performance Qualification Record), and send you all the package files for your records. These can then be used for all your projects based an material type and process used, and if you do not change anything then they never require re-validation.
